Tampa Bay Bucs Buy Players iPads

I have a susurrant descry for the Tampa Bay laurel Buccaneers. Why? Because back in 2008, when my honey Detroit Lions were losing every game in that 16-gage season, I could point to the Tampa Bay Bucs (WHO, before the Lions, held the record for most games lost in a season).

So it's pretty cool that the Bucs are moving into the 21st century by purchasing iPad 2 tablets for altogether of their players.

According to the St. Petersburg Times, the Bucs have downloaded their playbooks onto 90 iPad 2s — one for all of their 90 players. Coach Raheem Gouverneur Morris came up with the iPad idea, afterwards using an iPad to watch a video of one of the draft prospects. The players will not only be able to admittance playbooks on the tablets, they can too watch videos of games, practice, and other teams.

"It's crazy how untold technology has changed the game," Bucs Safety Cody Grimm told the Times. "Back out in the Clarence Shepard Day Jr., I consider probably the whole team had to sit cut down with a projector and a bobbin, and watch the film in collaboration. They'd have the whole offense in the Saame meeting room. Now we all birth our own iPad. Stuff that we wont to put in here to see, we can sit on our couch at home and give access to that 24-7. It's awesome."

This International Relations and Security Network't the first we've heard of iPads replacement playbooks–support in February, the Dallas Cowboys considered giving its players iPads Eastern Samoa playbook replacements.

Plus, the younger guys on the team (the Bucs have Thomas More young players than almost any other team in the conference) are all about having the latest Apple technology in their hands. The Times points out that the new technology testament credibly be an incentive for players to study plays and games.

"That's big ups to our establishment thinking look-alike that because it is the biggest thing right now and we have a big crowd," Bucs Linebacker Geno Hayes told the Times.

The inexperient iPad initiative will also be good for team security measures. "We give these playbooks out, and by the end of training camp, we collect them so nobody sells them on the Internet," Morris told the Multiplication. Plus, if someone loses a "playbook," or iPad, it's really better than leaving behind a physical playbook–"You've got a way to wipe (everything) off with the push of a push," Morris said.
